Good you quitted GPL, your posts were quite annoying actually :)
After more than three months I finished BG1 last Sunday (finished all
the subquests too). I bought BGII about a months or so, but promised
myself not to install it before I finished BG1.
Yesterday I installed BG2, and boy what an improvement. Much better
graphics, interface has become a lot more userfriendly, overall a
superb game.
But I still do my Ring practice every day...

How do you know his real name is not DarDANe][ ?
Maybe he was born in the '60s.. my parents wanted to call me
Moonflower but changed their mind... too bad.

Actually I know the feeling. Last week I started playing CMR2 and
Planescape: Torment, and although I love CMR2, I've been beavering away on
PT every day up until 3am. It's my first ever RPG and makes a nice little
change from driving sims.

If you like PT, you'll surely like BGII (play BG1 first though, it's
nicer to know the whole story before you start with BGII).
And yes, switching between GPL and a relaxed RPG works great :)
Andre (1:24 am... still 6 hours before I have to go to work, time for
another couple of round on the Ring :)
