I am getting an irritating stutter after driving for 1-2 min ?
It is not low frame rate, Fraps says 40-50.
Its more like a short interruption every 0.5-1.0 sec.
Tried low everything, makes no differense.
Athlon 850
192 MB
Geforce2 MX
Logitech WFF
I have installed all the latest drivers, AGP etc.
Tried severel different graphics drivers, and both DirectX 7.0a and 8.0.
Anyone else seeing this problem, or got a suggestion for a solution ??

Hit the Multimedia icon in control panel, the select advanced on the
playback device, under performance turn down acceleration to low.
Andi.
CMR2 still needs a patch though as this is a bit of a bodge.

Makes no difference to the stuttering problem here, just makes the sound
strange, sort of staccato ;-)

Very strange, I got the stutter to go away by selecting more details !?
Added more details until Fraps reports about 30 frames, then the stutter is
gone ?
Low resolution and low details gives me more frames but more stutter
also....
Joergen
Draw distance fixed most of mine.
Anyone know how to turn on the frame rate counter?
Thanks,

demo. I experienced the stuttering in CMR2 and in other games, as
well. Going back to the 107 drivers fixed it for me (but can't play
CMR2 demo). At least in my case they are related. Im running
C2/566@876, 384M, WinME, by the way.
