Anyone figured out what controls the ghosts in timetrial ??
Its not the time best for the stage.
Sometimes I am ahead of the ghost but several seconds behind my best time
for that stage ??

It is _your_ best time for the stage. That means if you make a good time
playing as player ABC, you will have to play as ABC if you want the ghost to
be this time. If you change player-name, the ghost-car will be new.
At least this is how it works for me.

It seems like this:
First time you enter timetrial in a session, the ghost car is the
best time for the track. Next time in the session, it simulates the
best time in that session.
I think this should have been optional, this way it's great if you
compete with friends, but not so good if you try to set new high scores.
