guess the topic says it all? Just wondering when/if it will ever be
released. I had been following the progress for a while and after a
few more delays sort of gave up.. Anyone know?
Last info was Summer 2001.
So don't hold your breath :-)
Johan
It's slipped to Q3 2001.

have a good break over the festive period so they can attack 2001 with
renewed vigour.

factors, for instance Empire Interactive wants simultaneous release of both PC
and PS2 platform... so Q3 is the latest estimated release date.

I haven't been for the last few bits now. Thanks for the updates!
It better be worth it.. though at this rate it will probably take a
Pentium V 6 Gigahertz to run.

Any news on a planned Linux port? In an interview I read they
said they were "interested in porting to other platforms,
including Linux". A simultaneous release of a native Linux
client together with the Windows version would be great news to
the Linux community.
cheers,

I asked them about this in one of the first chat sessions. They will
first concentrate on getting the Windows version out, and then see
what happens. So they didn't deny it, but not the opposite either :)
A Linux server client would be great.
IMHO the biggest problem with linux ports will be to make my MSFF
work. Would be great to wipe the MS "OS" off my harddisk though...

to the Rally masters Server, then we won't have a problem, because the
stability is extremely good. Not requiring graphics, or sounds.. it is
more than acceptable.
A Linux port of the whole game is extremely unlikely, but a server port
wouldn't be too hard (speaking from a non-programming, non-software
development experience :))) because it is simply a 'packet exchanger',
recieving and forwarding the relevant data to and from clients.
