I use a Microsoft FF Wheel but I dont like to use the Force Feedback. But I want the "return spring" of the wheel being activatet during the game, so that the wheel self centers (I race GPL like this, also without FF). But there sems no way of getting this done. Everytime the game launches, the return spring effect disapears. I tried all ingame settings and also in the wheel configuration in windows.... Grrrr, what can I do? Install the wheel as a ungknown joystick maybee?!? Thanx, Peter
I'm 99.99%v sure CMR1 had this Bug when it was released (i.e. no self-centering). Codemasters released a patch fairly shortly after but you'd think they would have put it in from the outset in CMR2!! Maxx On Sat, 23 Dec 2000 15:42:10 +0100, "Peter Horsch" <[email hidden]> wrote:

To use my little chrismas present, I drive now with a gamepad, and (who wonders) my stagetimes are faster than with the non-centerimg steering wheel. That would be impossible with GPL ;-). I think they will make an other patch for the game later next year (sob...) My controller options are keyboard only. All others are grayed out. I use a Logitech Wingman Formula USB. How do I use it with this game? On Sat, 23 Dec 2000 15:42:10 +0100, "Peter Horsch" <[email hidden]> wrote:
