In Ford Racing the game is accessing my CDRom While im playing i have
music off. Whats the deal? This cant be good for FPS can it?

I fact playing Ford racing is not good for you either.
I must say it's the worst racing game I've ever had the misfortune to play.
Do yourself a favour and buy yourself something better for Xmas. Toca2,
Viper Racing and of course GPL are only very cheap indeed (�9.99 in the UK)
and CMR2 and GP3 are very much better modern games.
