I just recieved this tragic news from a friend in GB, can anyone confirm?
"I am sure every motor sport fan will be saddened at the news of the death
of former F1 team owner and creator of the Mini Cooper, John Cooper CBE at
the age of 77."
A great man and a credit to the sport...we'll miss ya' John.

Sad indeed, bet him and Colin Chapman are sitting somewhere in Valhalla
or something right now discussing race car engineering, my guess is that
they're talking about how to "add lightness"...:-)
We're all a little poorer
