I just re-installed and I'm wondering what are the "must-have" patches to
make this game the most enjoyable.

the official 1.551 patch. But go to the uspits to get it. They have the
tweeked version of the patch that includes nocd and visual damage.
There are tons of great tracks...a touring car patch, American LeMans Series
cars...you have much work to do lad...

Editor'. And patch it so it is 'Pure Sim' mode. Makes it harder and more
realistic to drive.

I ended up with the Touring Car Patch and a bunch of touring cars as well as
the AOE. I have to say that I'm having a blast with this set of cars...
Anyone know when the second batch is going to be released?
nope it has been "on the way" for quite some time. There are several
forums at Speedsims.com that concern scgt, and most car and track
announcements are made there. Have fun!
