Been playing Colin McRea 2 for a few hours, and have a question about screen resolution. I am only offered '960' in 16 bit colour or 780 in 32 bit. I have a V5500 running on an Athlon 900, 256mb ram. Is it not possible for me to run at higher resolutions? While I am writing, I have also noticed that when driving (in cockpit mode), and accidentally smashing the car windscreen this only appears in the replay, not when I am actually driving the car! Why? Thanks for any help. PJ
I am not sure if this would have anything to do with it but I will take a shot anyways as it is the only thing I can think of at the moment. What resolution do you have your desktop set to? Is it set at only 800x600? Try setting your desktop to 1024x768 and see if it lets you. If it does not, check to see if you have a "Default Monitor" set, if you do.. change it to the monitor you have and see if it will then let you go to 1024x768. If it does, try the game again.
