Hi all I am doing a full championship, now driving the subaru in sweden. I can't seem to score.. :-( 10th place seems to be the best I can do. Do you have any tips for winter driving? Thanks Martin
Go a round in the arcade mode and follow the others ;-) /Carl (and then tell me how to drive in australia...) Martin Kuhne <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:92dqeq$6qrqb$[email hidden]...

I have only driven the demo in Sweden ( CMR2 not available in Canada yet !! ) and I found that if you stiffen the suspension to the max and add one slider click (i.e. more FWD) to the power ratio you get pretty good handling and not too much rear end sliding. I managed to knock 9 seconds off my best time on the Sweden demo track. Regards, PJL
Wow, thanks... I finally managed Sweden, with power distribution set two ticks to the rear. This seems to give me noticeably more traction when accelerating in a turn. Either that, or the practice :) Martin "@@..PJL..@@" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:fxz26.30534$[email hidden]... > > Martin Kuhne <[email hidden]> wrote in message > news:92dqeq$6qrqb$[email hidden]... > > Hi all > > > > I am doing a full championship, now driving the subaru in sweden. Sweden is a contest of car handling, carfully directing your car arond corners. Australia is a test of nerves :-) I have adjusted my gears towards the long end to be able to drive faster. Also, a more sensitive steering configuration should help to keep the car stable at high speeds. Australia's bushes seem to be quite soft so it is worth taking a risk in some stages and drive faster throu turns than you should. I have to take that back. For the first for stages I was better off with standard or shorter transmission.
