Hi, where can I find the vsync setting (off) option? I have done the "coolBITS" registry thing: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvTweak] "CoolBits"=dword:00000003 I double clicked this file, and system told me it had done the change. But "under Hardware Options under Additional Properties which is under the Advanced Controls in the display properties" I could not find anything concerning "vsync"? Any advice? Arto

I could not find anything like that... But I found the solution, I tell it here because it may help others: My Creative Geforce 2 GTS was installed in the company, where I bought the new PC, and they had not installed the "tweaker". Anyhow reading the Help helped! I installed BlasterControlDisplayCenter with its TweakCenter, and there you'll find many settings. I did not undestand many of them, but there was a "vsync" option, which I clicked off. And that it was! Now GPL, N4 Demo and MBTR Demo fly like angels... :) But I do not understand why my DVD and CDRW disappeared...? :-( Arto
Actually, VSync is an OpenGL option, so it should be one of the checkboxes in the middle of the OpenGL tab, not the Direct3D tab. This is if you're using the NVIDIA drivers, which you should be. =) -- -iFREEZn Jaim Friesen "Arto Wikla" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:wikla.978041135@kanasaari... > >It's under More Direct3 in the D3D setings if it isn't there you are > >probably useing the 6.50 drivers if you are take the nvcpl.dll file from the > >6.49's and put it in your windows/system folder. > > I could not find anything like that... > But I found the solution, I tell it here because it may help others: > > My Creative Geforce 2 GTS was installed in the company, where I > bought the new PC, and they had not installed the "tweaker". > Anyhow reading the Help helped! It's under More Direct3 in the D3D setings if it isn't there you are probably useing the 6.50 drivers if you are take the nvcpl.dll file from the 6.49's and put it in your windows/system folder. Alex "Arto Wikla" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:wikla.978026658@kanasaari...
