Just to let UK ras'ers know that at 00.50am Sunday Morning (but call it later tonight :-)) BBC are showing "Red Line 7000". The TV guide describes it as a "motor racing drama" about a driver who gets injured in a crash and tries to cope with it etc etc. It's from 1965 but I doubt it will be a rival to GP the Movie :-) -- Cheers! >It's from 1965 but I doubt it will be a rival to GP the Movie :-) Actually looking at the IMDB entry it seems it's more a copy of the non- racing scenes of GP... oh well :-) -- Cheers! Graeme Nash

Red Line 7000 (1965) James Caan, Laura Devon, Gail Hire, Charlene Holt. Average story about three Daytona stock car drivers and their problems on and off the track. Caan and director Howard Hawkes try their best but the so-so cast and script are too much to overcome. The racing scenes are well done though. Jerry Lewis has a cameo. [Elvis Presley turned down this script.] -- don New GPL Programs for the Converted Tracks: http://www.ianparker.co.uk/gpl/bapom/
Anyone noticed if "Le Mans" is going to be on TV or Sky soon . I used to have it on tape but I taped over it last year. Andrew Graeme Nash <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
