Hello,
I'm just wondering if there have been any patches released to fix the N4

demo...it does happen...but not often.

When first running the N4 demo with my Aureal Vortex 2
card, I experienced glitchy sound performance. Often
after brushing the wall or even at random times, the sound
would cut out to a low muffled level. I recently noticed,
however, that the N4 directory contains a file "a3d.dll"
which is an old driver file from Aureal. By renaming this
file to "a3d.dlx", the sim now uses a3d.dll in the
Windows/System directory, which is the latest driver
version. The sound is now stable with none of the
artifacts I previously had (though the Demo's engine
sounds are still dissipointing).
