I've been running GP3 with official patch for quite a while now
without problems under WinME.
But today, the screen kept flickering during the game...this is for
all camera views. I changed resolution (Hardware Mode) but the
flickering remained. I tried a few DirectX settings but it didn't
affect the flickering.
This isn't normal screen flicker caused by low refresh rates. There
appears to be a light brown image quickly projected onto the screen
which then disappears. The flickering is concentrated in the lower
half of the screen.
I'm running the Hercules WinME 6.35 drivers and DirectX8.
I uninstalled GP3 and then re-installed from the CD. The flickering
disappeared. But when I applied the official patch the flickering
reappeared.
Anyone know of a fix for this? TIA.

Thanks, that worked! It was set to "Auto" but it's now switched off.
Thanks again :-)
