After struggling with GPL for a looong time I finally felt my driving to be consistent enough
to try some races (npt_override=1.2 ;-) Single races work fine, but when I select
championship mode the game just exists without any error message. I know that it worked once,
but in the meantime I've been fooling aroung with all sorts of ini files, installing new tracks, then
deleting some again, and so on. I thought it might just be the fact that it does not work with other
than the orignal tracks installed so I put the orignal (I think) copy of 67season.ini back in place,
but still no go . Seems I broke something somewhere. Any ideas what might be wrong would be
very much appreciated, it would be a major pain having to reinstall the whole thing...

Actually what you should have done, is put the original gp.ini back. For
some reason the 1967 season is stored in gp.ini, not 67season.ini, which is
very confusing. Just look at the comments at the top of the file.
The 67season.ini is the one that contains all your tracks (this is also what
VROC looks in), and the gp.ini is the one for the championship season, which
can now be updated with the Le Mans-Bugatti circuit instead of Rouen :-).
