So, after a few hours playing screamer 4x4, i would have to say that i find
it to be quite a poor game.
1). No rear view mirrors. Would have thought they would be essential in a
game like this, so you can see what you are reversing into.
2) Force Feedback. Very poor implementation i would say. There are
certainly no subtle effects used, all you get sent is large bumps & jumping
of the wheel. Also the force feedback disappears if you have a free drive
mode!
3) Tech support. What tech support? There is no tech support provided,
either by Virgin Interactive, or by the publishers!
If your thinking of buying this game, i would wait, at least until we see
if there is a patch released.
So, i've taken it back to EB for a refund! May get CMR2 later on.
