Hi all, I've recently did a fresh install of everything due to a motherboard/CPU upgrade. Everything runs fine in f1cs2000, except the force feedback. It just isn't present, even thought it's checked, and the wheel tests fine outside the game. Here's what I'm running: Abit SA6R PIII 700E @ 1001mhz Win98, DX8 LWFF with the latest drivers (Game controller ID 2) CH Pedals (Game controller ID 1) Prophet 3D video card (GeForce DDR, 32MB) I'm running f1cs2000 with everything on and none of the driving aids. I've tried the demo, and it does the same thing :( I suspect it might be some DX8 incompatibility, since I vaguely remember something along those lines being mentioned here. If so, can you point me to a good uninstaller? Thank you much, and Happy New Year! Luis
I'm running dx8 with older lwff drivers....(although I have the Wingman program turned off) and the FF in f1cs2k is there. There is not much action for driving, more of curbing roll-overs and such, but little in the way of 'feeling' the car beneath you. Did you use device manager to remove the lwff and drivers and THEN do a fresh install of those also? Does your motherboard have an onboard sound chip that 'may' be conflicting with your wheel? sorry, questions but no real answers. good luck dave henrie "Luis Soto" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Thanks for responding! But after formatting my disk and doing a fresh install of Win98, and installing DX7a, I have the same problem. I have not tried with any other game, though. The wheel still tests fine on the properties screen. Oh well... Luis "Dave Henrie" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:sVK36.211996$[email hidden]...
