Hi, I tried the FF with my MS FF USB wheel, but it affected the framerate drastically. I have a K6-2 500, 192 meg RAM and a TNT2 M64. Has anyone managed to get the FF working on this with without hogging the CPU and slowing the game? If so, could u tell me how/ which force settings you use? Thanks a lot, Ritchie

If so, could u tell me how/ which force settings you use? I *think* that it's been said that the new DirectX 8 really makes a big improvement in this problem. Regards, Brett C. yeah i`ve got this installed. i remember reading somewhere that MS FF USB uses one hell of a lot of cpu cycles per force feedback instrucion...a shame, because i know it would make it a lot better Ritchie

Maybe one day when we are old and grey Microsoft will actually support their hardware and provide us with some software updates. Nah... -Larry "Ritchie" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
