Internet play with Nascar Racing 3

can anyone give me a clue how to get internet play? Every time i go to mulitplayer and select internet my system freezes. I have a dsl connection, but i must be missing something. Has anyone gotten this game to work over the net? thanks much

Have you created a user ID on Won.net. Multiplayer screen, player ID. I have dsl and i use zonealarm for my firewall. I have to turn zonealarm completely off to use multiplayer in nascar 3 or it freezes my pc. Could this be you're problem too? I seem to remember when u first sign up on WON, it takes a long time like it froze up when in reality it just took a long time to set u up.... Try it again.. Don Schwartz Jr wrote:

You might also uncheck the IPX box if it is checked. If you don't have an IPX connection, and this option is selected, this is more than likely causing your hangup. I have ZoneAlarm too, and I've told it to let N3 through. I don't have to end it at all. Robocomp wrote:

Wonder why it works for you and not me? I've given nascar 3 and wonswap permision to access the internet and act as servers but my pc locks up every time if i leave zonealarm on and works fine without it. I've tried changing the security level from highest to lowest with no change :( I also have ipx unchecked. Don "Darrin J.
