Hi All,
I have recently bought the LWFF (USB) wheel and when I play either Colin
McRae Rally (1 or 2) the games plays OK for a minute or so and then the
wheel loses all control. The game continues to run, I can escape out of the
game etc. but the wheel does not work until I reboot.
If I go into the Wingman properties, the joystick control panel takes ages
to appear and does not allow me to test the wheel.
I am using the latest Logitech drivers downloaded from their website, latest
VIA drivers for my TMC 15VGA motherboard.
I have also got a AMD K63-450, Videologic SonicVortex Soundcard.
Anyone had similar problems??
Regards,
Mark
Yes, in TOCA2 under win 98 (dx8, latest logitech drivers) and my optical
wheelmouse also died..., and in gpl under win2k (dx8, latest logitech).
But cmr2 works fine.
/Carl
(I think it's the logitech usb-interface drivers.)

Some Call Me Tim
I downloaded the latest USB Filter drivers (1.08) from VIA and this has
helped with the problem. I can now play CMR2 without losing the wheel. I
still get the odd glitch where the wheel stops responding (enough to send me
into the scenery!) but I managed to do a whole rally.
I found a lot of information at www.wingmanteam.com and www.usbman.com
relating to the problems of Logitech Wheels and USB general issues.
Hope this can help someone else.
