Me and a friend of mine were trying to get hooked up last night playing
NASCAR Heat multiplayer. We both have dial-up connections so we both chose
the 33.6 modem option. I gave him my IP address and he typed it in and
clicked Search while I sat in host mode. It appeared to be working fine. It
said that he had connected successfully but then the dialog just went away.
Nothing happened after that (no new screens for him) and he didn't show up
in my list as a connected player. Anyone know if there is something we are
missing? We both have the 1.1 patch installed.
get the 'Internet Race Finder', this will allow you to join races that are
already being hosted by others.
