Well as a former N3 guy that did Heat, and lately F1/200CS....I read the
posts about the advanced options editor for SCGT..WOW!! What a true
difference!!! Thanks to those who brought that post up, I paid $4.99 for the
game a awhile back and always liked it but now with AOE...its amazing!!
Nice to feel the tires chatter to give some driver feedback, unlike the
"glass" I have been driving on in F12000/CS....My .02 worth

I really recommend people to try this editor. I almost tossed SCGT into the
trash when I first got it because it the handling was very arcade-like. The
AOE led me to play it for many more months.
I've just got a second copy of SCGT with my LWFF, I'll play head-to-head
with the wife. Me with "real" physics and her with "original" physics
should be fun.

AOE...it is truly "real", (and knowing I'll get bashed), it's better than
those "later" games I've laid my $$$ on lately....if you want a real charge,
download the Nissan NSX/GT...couldnt tell you where I found it, but its a
blast, all this from a typical USA Chevy truck driving guy LOL! Note to
Sideshow Bob.....if my ex "understood" this stuff, she might still be my
wife !! Lucky you got one that likes to have fun LOL! Thank God I got
divorced in this age, what did divorced Dad's do back in the "Atari age"
LOL! Alright Gents...back to Laguna Seca to take out that damn Lola........

Well, let me tell you... I get some looks as I head off to the computer
sometimes. I've learned to play GPL after she goes to bed. As well, she's
a shift worker and is at work right now (it's 8PM) until tomorrow AM.
Woo-hoo! GPL! Who needs sleep? Not me.
But buying her games (she likes Midtown Madness 2 but I'm trying to get her
to play SCGT) and giving her a decent system helps a lot. We share "real
racing" too.
We're both F1 fans. Her previous boyfriend talked down to her with respect
to F1 and pretty well demanded complete silence during the racing. I took
the time to explain it to her. Now we're up every race day, make a nice
breakfast and watch the race. Every now and then, she shakes her head and
says: "I *never* thought I'd be watching F1!"
Yes, I'm lucky.

I've managed to get my G/f to like watching F1 - but she get's a bit pissed
when I spend too much time playing GPL (or B17, Deus Ex, Unreal etc etc )
We did share a few hours of networked rally masters though - that was fun.

Got a URL for this patch?
I have had a look at the USpits SCGT page, but it doesn't appear in
patches.
thanks

You have to RE-RUN the program(aoe)
everytime you make a change to SCGT.(like adding new cars or tracks)

will lose any resemblance of 'good' handling after using AOE, also on the
newer tracks available for download (about 50+ now) have their grip values
adjusted so AOE won't be neccesary.
You'll notice this in some cars being"AOE" compliant in their readme's.
