Does version 3.02 of the MS Sidewinder's software automatically choose the proper profile/scheme for your game without having to choose it manually in the Game Controller control panel? With 4.0, it's manual. And will 3.02 work with my USB wheel?

You mean you load up game Z and the stick/wheel knows it's game Z and unloads profile Y and loads profile Z? No, nothing like that. It's all manual. But it does remember which profile was loaded last. And if you have more than one stick/wheel (like I do) it switches itself in control panel and self-calibrates when you swap one for the other. At least, this is with the gameport versions of the FF Wheel and FF stick /w 3.02 software. > With 4.0, it's manual. And will 3.02 work with my USB wheel? I think you need 4.0 for USB. Not sure why MS calls it 4.0 since those of us using the gameport can't upgrade.
