NASCAR 4 will support dual processors, ie; it is multi-threaded In article <EA556.176400$[email hidden]>, "Simon Goodwin" <[email hidden]> wrote:

GPL supports dual cpus. Randy said not to expect much because of the bus limitations, but it can do it. Jason. Simon Goodwin wrote:

"Simon Goodwin" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:EA556.176400$[email hidden]... | No current games support dual processing. I'm pretty sure Quake 3 was one of the first to support SMP. -- 7:30pm up 48 days, 10:09, 3 users, load average: 1.37, 1.52, 1.54

I understand GPL will, but it will require, of course, an operating system that supports SMP. Regards, Brett C. Keep in mind that you have to use an operating system that supports multiple processors as well. In the Windows environment, that limits you to NT4 or Win 2000. Since you are interested in games, NT4 is out, so 2k is your only choice.
