I have a PIII600 256 RAM and a Voodoo5500. I downloaded the CMR2 Demo and I have all graphics options turned down or off, and I'm running the game at 800X600, with FSAA X2. The framerates crawl at times, this seems rediculous considering that the graphics sucks. Have a look at NFS:PU and then at this. I run PU at 1600X1200 with all graphics on plus FSAAX2 and the framerate never comes close to anything under the 30s. Is it possible the frame rates i get in CMR2 are so low? I am trying to enjoy the demo so that maybe I'll buy the game but like this it's just impossible! Wishkah
Strangely there is a frame rate problem for CM2 even on some higher end systems. I'm not sure if anyone has pinpointed the exact problem yet. It is hoped that Codemasters will patch this problem. There is a thread in High Gear forums about this and some suggestions are offered.
