I load N4 demo on my w2k pro machine, it didnt run very well, uninstalled
it, went to run some laps at the ring, and now GPL is running at double
speed. could someone please tell me how to fix this.

Funny, I thought I was the only one that had this problem. You running a
Voodoo card with GPL in D3D mode too? Cant get it to work in Glide in Win2K

Delete all references to papy*.sys with regedit.exe, search and delete the
files and reboot. N4-demo installs some not-good files over the gpl's files.
I don't seem to see any difference if these files are in your computer or
not... sot just delete them.

Use George Smiley's Banshee patch /glide'o'matic, available from
www.gplea.org. Win2K doesn't like it when GPL sets the glide screen
resolution to 640x480 at startup and crashes, requiring a hard reboot.
