Boy I went to look at the Indianapolis Star-News site to read what
Robin Miller had to say and found only a tribute column about him and
the fact that he was fired from the paper! I know he pissed off a lot
of people but I really think he was a good thorn in Tony's side to try
and keep the pressure on. I know you are IRL-centric so won't debate
that but did some stuff happen in Indy that ran Miller out?
Jeff in South Bend
(for those of you not aware, Robin Miller was a newspaper columnist
for the Indianapolis paper and often wrote columns critical of the IRL
and Tony George's ever changing Indy 500 ... You might not agree with
what he said but it usually was pretty colorful ...)
Jeff,
I wuz shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED! Never thought I'd see *that* happen. I
guess the buck is mightier than the pen, at least in Indian-no-place.
