Is it possible to assign the clutch function in gpl so the secondary set of paddles on the ferrari wheel? I mean the ones that can also be used for throttle and brakes. The throttle and brakes would be assigned to the pedals. Is this possible? I so, I'm going to buy it tomorrow! Sjoerd

The secondary paddles are deactivated when the pedals are plugged into the controller. Cheers Phil -- F1 GPL Handicap: +0.87 secs F2 GPL Handicap: +117.19 secs

That's pretty stupid of them! Formula 1 cars have the clutch on the wheel don't they? Why couldn't guillemot just copy that idea? Sjoerd >-- >F1 GPL Handicap: +0.87 secs >F2 GPL Handicap: +117.19 secs > >

Probably too much data for the port (6 analogue channels and x digital..) and/or the games. There's very few games which support analogue clutches/handbrakes. Actually ... anyone know a game that supports analogue handbrakes? Andy

Yes, the one i work on it :o) But don't know if, marketing sharks will let this feature accessible to the player :o( -- Seb Game Developer GPLRank -37.10 http://magicfr.multimania.com

In gp3 you have the clutch assigned to the gear changing paddles, works great actually. Don't know about other games though. -- Johan N [email hidden]
I've read that some Ferrari FF wheel owners use separate CH peddles so they can disconnect the Ferrari ones and use the paddles as a clutch. I just wish I'd have thought about that before i gave away my old wheel and peddles. -- Some Call Me Tim

One thing though, i would imagine that a clutch pedal would be difficult to use, as unless it has force feedback, you wont be able to feel the biting point! - brian
