Hi,
For the last several months, whenever I log on to RAS I am only able to
receive at the MOST 240 something message headers. Prior to this if I
hadn't been on for awhile, there would be about 1000 message headers
available. This is NOT a problem with the "download x-number of
headers" preference in my browser, I have it set to 999 and it makes no
difference.
What determines how many headers are available on a news server? I
called my ISP and they told be the problem is not on their end. The
problem is if I post a question to the group by the time I log on again
the next day, my question is no longer available because there have been
more than the 150-250 messages I am able to download.
If anybody knows the answer to this, please reply directly to my email
address: [email hidden] otherwise I won't ever see it.
Thanks.
