I have GPL, CART Racing and Official Formula 1 racing. I'm looking for something new. Any suggestions?
Download the demo for F1 Championship Season 2000 (F1CS2K) -- this is the closest F1 simulatino to GPL at this point in time, and there's a ton of support available, ranging from add-on cars and tracks to setups. You can get the demo here: http://www.3dfiles.com/games/f1championshipseason2000.shtml People are hard at work on a CART conversion for F1CS2K, so if you're interested in CART, this is one to watch. There are no IRL or Indy sims in the works at the moment, unfortunately. As far as other F1 sims are concerned, Grand Prix 3 (GP3) is also decent, but not my cup of tea: http://www.3dfiles.com/games/grandprix3.shtml F1 World Grand Prix (F1WGP) is nice-looking, but tends toward arcadish play. Not bad, though, and lots of fun (more fun than GP3 in my book, but not up to F1CS2K standards): http://www.3dfiles.com/games/f1worldgrandprix99.shtml Warm Up! is from the same people who did F1WGP -- it's a little more arcade-like, but the emphasis is on fun with this title. Decent overall, and worth a look-see: http://www.3dfiles.com/games/warmup!.shtml Hope this helps a bit! -- JB F1CS2K Rank 68.354 http://f1cs2krank.dhs.org In article <[email hidden]>, [email hidden] (Power Post 2000) wrote: > I have GPL, CART Racing and Official Formula 1 racing. Duh! Anybody could tell you that that was an ITALIAN term! It was an honest mistake on your part, though, so I'll let it slide . . . ;-) -- JB F1CS2K Rank 68.354 http://f1cs2krank.dhs.org Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/
