Has anyone else had this trouble? I want to re-assign the accelerator in Driver. The program will let me do it, but I can't back out of the menu screen. I know that it's not a sim, but I like it.
I played this game to death when it came out for the PSX, but I have hardly touched it for the PC. Wasn't a Driver 2 supposed to be released? "Johnny Gold" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:Dutf6.187$[email hidden]...

You get out of the controller assignment screen by pressing Esc. However, if I remember correctly, the program won't let you do this while you have a conflict in assignments, and it's notobvious that to 'clear' an assignment, you press the space bar. Don't forget to get the update patch that came out a long while ago - it helps the controller configuration issues. Have fun - for the San Fran 'Escape From Cops' type game (whatever it was called) I switched the player damage off - it's hilarious to catch big air while police cars are flying everywhere. A great break after unintentionally catching big air at Nurburgring and ending up in a hedge. <g> ...Klinn "Johnny Gold" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:Dutf6.187$[email hidden]...

Try uninstalling the game, then re-installing and patching it with the latest patch. From memory I think this worked for me with the same problem, but like I said I cant be sure it was that long ago...! Matt "Johnny Gold" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:Dutf6.187$[email hidden]...
