Wow, is it me or is N4 a hog for PC req's???
Of course I have all details on and running on a PC with:
PIII 733/133 with RAMBUS and a Hercules Ultra.
The framerate with 42 other cars is about 19-24fps. I haven't test it
with the new Detonator drivers yet and will do so today. Just wondering
if a 1gig would get the 30fps needed?

Yes it is..
Im running a 1Ghz with a GeForce2 Ultra and was getting upwards of
75fps at Daytona with 42 other cars. That was with old 5.45 drivers
that came preinstalled in my system.
I just installed the 6.50s a few hours ago but havent loaded up N4
yet.

couple of years ago, and the official line for delaying it as long as it was
was so that the PC hardware could catch up to the requirements of the game.
An Athlon 800/GeForce DDR with PC133 RAM (512MB in my case) is just dandy as
long as I trim down the 'World' graphics to about 40%. Frankly, I haven't
even noticed what it tuned down.
