Is there any sites out there that have tweaks for cable modems to lower the
ping?
Thanks MILO
You can try http://www.speedguide.net/index.shtml
They have lots of info, something there might help. Also try the
comp.dcom.modems.cable newsgroup, they have some pretty knowledgeble people
over there.

Also remember that the ping reports in N4 are for both directions, not one
direction like N3.
That's why everything looks twice as bad.
Race hosts need to keep this in mind, and double the setting they used in
N3.

BTW, here are my results:
* Please wait .. collecting data
* Your RWIN reads as 65535
* All tests passed perfectly.
* We recommend you leave everything as it is!
* End
Nice to know that info!

You should know how your service provider handles pings. For example
Shaw@Home puts them as a low priority. I have to download a file and
then use ping while the file is downloading to get the real ping counts.
