1):Yesterday, i downloaded a new car skin for the 206 WRC (the 2001 version) and copy the files into the /cars directory. But when i run the game, the car i run is still the same like before (the 2000 version) but.............the ghost of the 206 in the Time trial mode is..........the 2001 version with the red parts !?!?!! I really don't understand what it happens :-( 2): How can we open and edit the textures files for the cars ???

Visit http://www.sportplanet.com/cmr2 for a complete paint tutorial and tools. As for the 206 issue...there are two things First you need to determine what 206 you downloaded. High Resolution or Low. If the file was 206A1.BFL it was the high resolution skin. If C1 then it was the low resolution. Next check your graphic settings. They need to match the car you downloaded (HIGH detail or LOW). two exceptions: - v3 cards cannot do high res cars - arcade, ss and ghost use low res car no matter the graphic setting. So, to me it sounds like you downloaded the Low Res 206 and have your graphics set to High Res. This means you wouldn't see your car when you run replays but in Acrade or Ghost you would see the 2001 livery. On the site above you will find dozens of skins including several 2001 Peugeots.
