MBTR Demo question(s)

A plea for help from any MBTR guru's out there: I finally got around to DL'ing the demo and it's pretty interesting, but I have a couple of config questions: 1. Can you fake your way into split-axis pedals? I understand the final game supports this, and the demo does recognize all my LWF's axes (x,y,z,& rz), but it won't let me assign z to accel and rz to brakes. Can you edit a config file to do it,and if so, which one? Called myself looking, but couldn't find it. Also tried goofing my way in ala F1RC, but no dice. 2. There seems to be a big honkin' dead zone in the steering, even though mine's zeroed out with DXTweak. And I didn't see any steering ratio setup or controller sensitivity adjustments in the demo. Did I miss something, or is that just how they model a truck's steering? If that's it, then is the full game the same as the demo on this point? TIA, Steve B.
