I have a GeForce2 Ultra 64mb card. I am getting screen flicker in nascar4. It's mostly on the bottom of the screen and it does it while driving, in player info screen, garage screen etc. Does anyone know what this is and what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance for any help.
Turn of V-Sync in either D3D or OpenGL (depending on which one you use) <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3a8db972.56283951@news... > I have a GeForce2 Ultra 64mb card. I'm using D3D but I can't find the vsync setting anywhere in the settings. Do you know where it is? Thanks for your help. On Fri, 16 Feb 2001 17:51:26 -0600, "Cliff Roman" <[email hidden]> wrote:

when you are in the Direct3D tab, at the bottom there is a button called More D3D options Go in there and you can edit your Anti-Aliasing as well as your Verticle Sync <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3a8dbf2b.57749822@news...

If your using the new 7.52 version drivers, I don't think there is an option for vsync in D3D! "Cliff Roman" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:96kgpr$eks$[email hidden]...

I think you have to do some registry hack, or download some file off the net before the v-sync setting appears. It's not there as default with any of the drivers i've tried. Anyone know how to do this? This is because drivers with a v-sync setting won't be given WHQL certification by Microsoft anymore. To all GeForce owners you must turn off Vertical sync in the OpenGL settings and the flicker will be gone Steve Paradise <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3a8db972.56283951@news... > I have a GeForce2 Ultra 64mb card. It is in my settings and I am just using the Det. 3.50 (I think) drivers "Simon Brown" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:RSkj6.2546$[email hidden]... > I think you have to do some registry hack, or download some file off thenet

I have the latest official Det3 drivers - 6.50 - and have that option. I do have HZ Tools for setting refresh rates, but I don't think it has anything to do with me having the vsynch tab in d3d - then again, I'm usually wrong :) -- Don Burnette "Cliff Roman" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:96kmks$1msi$[email hidden]... > It is in my settings and I am just using the Det. 3.50 (I think) drivers > > "Simon Brown" <[email hidden]> wrote in message > news:RSkj6.2546$[email hidden]... > > I think you have to do some registry hack, or download some file off the > net > > before the v-sync setting appears. It must be, because I have 6.50 from nVidia currently installed and there's no v-sync option for D3D under advanced d3d. "Don Burnette" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:qglj6.290800$[email hidden]... > > I have the latest official Det3 drivers - 6.50 - and have that option. Ido
