This may be an OS error because it happens with more than one game. When running Half-Life or N4, my system will sometimes just halt the program and go back to desktop. No errors, nothing. Every once in a while it will make the machine reboot. Again, no errors. The halting has occurred w/ both a Voodoo2 Banshee and Riva TNT2 card. Once N4 goes back to the desktop, you must reboot before it will work again, otherwise it goes to the "black screen of death" :). I'm migrating to ME now. My guess is the programs start using too many resources and the OS shuts it down. I guess it's possible the graphix card is overheating, but it has a fan on it and is not hot to the touch immediately after shutting down from one of the mishaps.
