Anyone want to comment of how well Win 2000 works with Papy games and
popular games in general? I can'tdeal with Windows Me anymore. What a
steaming heap of shit.

Go to www.anandtech.com. They just posted a pretty good article on this
very subject i.e. Win2000 Gaming Performance. It's more about comparing
cards and drivers, but the information you seek is there.
In my own experience, I've found that while Win2K doesn't perform as well as
Win98 but it does tend to perform more consistently.

I'm using Windows 2000 with GPL, and have had no problems, except for having
to download the George Smiley glide fix, and the D3D rasterizer (when my
voodoo 3 packed up!).
I did have a problem with the front-end part of the LWFF software, but the
wheel itself works (although I can't check all the settings!).
I've also found that in general use Windows 2000 is a *huge* improvement
over the steaming piles of shit that Microsoft has tried to pass off as
operating systems in the past!
