Is the track created by Roland Ehnstrm the only Le Mans Bugatti track available, and if so, where can I find the most recent version of this course? Peter Walker Bagus51

I hope that's true - that's one of the classic tracks that we really need in GPL. (Of course, we really should have a '67 sportscar carset to be really authentic) - Michael

As the people following the Legends Central GPL forums can verify, it is definitely true. The track is supposedly already drivable (which, however, does _not_ equal finished!), and it is reported that the Mulsanne straight takes over a minute when you're driving flat out in a Lotus. :) And FYI, the "definitive" tracks-in-construction list can be found at the GPL track editor pages (whose web address does elude me now). It's not keeping itself up to date very well, though, because the track editor release has spawned at least half a dozen new track projects. +Cinquo [GPLRank 26.88]

Should lead to some serious slipstreaming and weaving in on-line races:-) > And FYI, the "definitive" tracks-in-construction list can be found at the > GPL track editor pages (whose web address does elude me now). Thanks for the info - anyone know this track editor URL? - Michael

Yeah, it kind of sucks, but the rest of the track will be very cool. BTW, I've got the editor address now - http://home.online.no/~bi-knu/editing/ and click on "tracks/projects" on the bottom right. +Cinquo [GPLRank 26.88]

What...? Just how long IS the full track??? Eldred -- Dale Earnhardt, Sr. 1951-2001 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett GPL F1 hcp. +28.67...F2 +151.26...F3 hcp. +373.73 Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you with experience... Remove SPAM-OFF to reply.

Well, I thought km *first*, because you're on the other side of the pond. But since GPL reports track length in miles, that's the conclusion I came to. 13km just doesn't seem that long to me.<shrug> Eldred -- Dale Earnhardt, Sr. 1951-2001 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett GPL F1 hcp. +28.67...F2 +151.26...F3 hcp. +373.73 Never argue with an idiot.
