I love racing at Glacier, and have had some of my best on-line duels there.
But on occasion I have a twinge of guilt: I have killed dozens of marshals
there, more than any other track. Somebody really needs to talk to the race
organizer about this - it doesn't seem to slow my car down much (I guess I
cut them off at the knees in my low-riding Lotus) but it does tend to affect
my concentration at times.
They must have a large number of replacements standing by too, because the
lap after I wipe one out, the corner is staffed again. These guys are
dedicated! Or are things so depressing in Greenland in the winter that they
are trying to end it all?
(Sorry, I'm a bit bored at work, just waiting for the day to end so I can
get back to GPL (aka "life") <g>)

For whatever reason, this really hit me in the funny bone. Thanks!

I wondered about that too. I know the marshalls *were* close to the track, but
that's ridiculous!<g>
