During the weekend I installed NFS - PU
While I understand that most ofthe cars are available only under the
evolution mode ... the manuals says that I will have 15 cars in the single
player mode (normal mode)
Here is the list of cars I see:
Classic Era
Class 3 - 1959 356 A 1600
Class 2 - 1960 356 B 1600
Golden Era
Class 3 - 1972 911 S 2.4
Class 3 - 1973 914/4 2.0
Class 2 - 1988 944 TURBO S
Class 1 - 1978 911 Turbo 3.3
Class 1 - 1987 959
Modern Era
Class 3 - 1989 911 Carrera 4 964
Class 3 - 1990 911 Carrera 2 964
Class 3 - 1997 Boxter
Class 2 - 1992 928 <---- This I believe I downloaded from the nfs site.
Class 2 - 1994 911 Carrera 993
Class 1 - 1995 911 Turbo 3.6
Thats only 13 cars (including the one I downloaded) !
The list does show two more cars which are covered ... and when I click on
them it says that I need to download the cars ... here is what they are:
Race Cars - 1997 911 GT2 Race Version
Race Cars - 1998 911 GT3 Cup
Also, I only see 4 tracks listed:
Normandie
MonteCarlo
Two more whose name I dont recall
Please confirm if there is something goofy with my install. Thanks

You can win some cars during the factory driver mode, can't remember
which ones though. Maybe those are the cars you're missing?

It appears that the nfs site lacks a good layout ... when you click on cars
... you see the 928 page ... if your monitor brightness and contrast is not
above normal you will miss the links to the other cars on the top row of
the page. I missed it the first time, now I see it ... will download and
test!
Now if only I knew of some way to add more tracks to the lists of four I
get access to currently.
Thanks again.

You have to advance through the evolution mode to unlock more tracks. Each
time you advance, from classic, to golden to modern, you will unlock four
more tracks.

If you want immediate gratification, you could always use some cheat codes -
but the whole point of the game is having fun driving while opening up new
vistas, right??? <grin>
For cheats, try the Adrenaline Vault -

(watch out for word-wrap of that URL)
Have fun...

Nothing's wrong. You need to unlock the tracks when you reach them
in Evolution.
