I hadn't thought about it much until I was reading a listing of F1
drivers' birthdays, but it gave me a bit of a shock -- now, I would have
guessed rightly that Jean Alesi is the oldest current F1 driver, but I
never would have guessed who the second-oldest is, and only by a little
more than two weeks, at that... Anybody guess who it is, without running
to your reference books or looking it up on the Web?
Irvine?

I'm also going to guess Irvine. I think he's about 34, but not sure (won't
cheat and look it up).
I guess you'd be thinking of Johnny Herbert.

Well, I had written that he was no longer racing, but decided to delete it
because Barton asked which current F1 driver, not racer ;)

the title of the thread says "Current" F1 trivia..last I checked,
Little Johnny wasn't in F1 anymore. The best he could come
up with was the Audi-knockoff Bently LeMans Prototype.

I admit it's a stretch, but he *is* the designated test driver for
Walkinshaw's Arrows team...
