http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/dynamic/sport/story.html?in_review_id=366928&i n_review_text_id=312612 What I've been saying all along. From the article: The crash happened on the day Schumacher was named Forbes Magazine's wealthiest sportsman of 2000, with earnings of around 45 million - nearly 5 million more than golfer Tiger Woods. He owes his survival today to Ayrton Senna, who died in a spectacular crash at America's Imola track in 1994. The Formula 1 industry was so shocked that it drew up a strict new code ensuring that Grand Prix cars would offer the highest level of protection. Now every driver is cradled in a hi-tech survival cell which encases his body from head to toe and is lined with energy-absorbing foam, allowing it to withstand incredibly high impact. Now, when an F1 car crashes it looks spectacular partly because of this cocoon effect. The wheels, engine and gearbox are specially built to break away and absorb much of the impact. Richard Woods of FIA, the body that governs motor sport, said: "Every season we see major advances in safety. We are now working on a kind of 'child seat' that drivers will be fixed to inside the cell." Maybe I am thinking of someone else, but I seem to recall that you used to post some informative reviews and comments on Racing Simulations (weren't you that Rally Championship beta tester?). I guess you have switched over to trolling to get your fun now. Gotta admit you are pretty good at that though.
>"David G Fisher" <[email hidden]> wrote > Why don't you tell all these Earnhardt fans to leave their damn teary-eyed > tributes off of r.a.s. as well? Errrr, David, that was a week ago. I haven't seen much action since. It's time to get over with it. You know.... ...NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- -- Franois Mnard <ymenard> -- May the Downforce be with you... -- http://www.ymenard.com/ -- People think it must be fun to be a genius, but they don't realise how hard it is to put up with all the idiots in the world.
How is a post on F1 safety trolling? Does it really piss you off to read about safety? JB "Patrick Gilmore" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:XPZn6.19204$[email hidden]... > > This isn't > > >rec.autos.sports.nascar.Skynardtshirt.confederateflag.budweiser.dangnabbit.g

Try reading his posts for the last week criticizing NASCAR, NASCAR racing anf NASCAR drivers and his post in this thread about teary eyed Earnheart fans. If that is not from a Troll is is from a Dickhead, either way, the same. Paul Wosco wrote:

You're absolutely pathetic, or perhaps (seriously, no joke) schizophrenic. How can you possibly wish to use the death of a human being as an opportunity to be willfully hateful to his fans is simply beyond me. I don't recall Nascar fans belittling the death of Senna and Ratxzenburger of F1 fans in this way at all. In the revolution against knee-jerk RAS ideologues, you'd get my vote for first up against the wall. Firing up the killfile, once again. --David K "David G Fisher" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:gCZn6.139201$[email hidden]... > Why don't you. . .[cutting poison]. . .off of r.a.s. as well? > > This isn't . . .[cutting more poison] > > David G Fisher

That's quite a remarkable display of bigotry and ignorance, there, Mr. Fisher. Care to perpetuate any other stereotypes while you're at it? I'll bet you know some good ones about gay people or perhaps Jewish ones....? Africans...? Asians...? Keep up the good work!
