N4 - Can I tweak the views?

I like the unobstructed bumper view in Nascar 4 but would prefer that the viewpoint be raised to the normal seating height. Any ideas how I could tweak a file to get that? Another alternative would be to be able to choose the cockpit view but kill the cockpit graphics. I could choose the hood view but I want to improve my frame rate and I suspect the 3D drawing of the hood is sapping my frame rate since the bumper view is so much smoother. Has anyone observed the same and had any success?

Sorry no solution, but I agree with everything you said. I just use roof cam and bump the graphics down a notch to compensate - racing in bumper cam is absolutely no good for the restrictor plate tracks. -Phasor "The Moranos" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:sP%o6.1279$[email hidden]... > I like the unobstructed bumper view in Nascar 4 but would prefer that the > viewpoint be raised to the normal seating height. I get the same frame rates regardless of which view I use--it is the mirror that drags things down. You need it. None of the views except the cockpit view are at the right height and position in the car, so they are all pretty useless for actually racing (though they look great). Marc. Thanks for the explanation. The roof cam it is. Ken "Phasor" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3aa58a3a$[email hidden]... > Sorry no solution, but I agree with everything you said. I just use roof > cam and bump the graphics down a notch to compensate - racing in bumpercam
