Why is it that the Pace Car can come out and plow through the field knocking off every car in it's way without a scratch at a speed 50% faster than our race cars and then sit in front at 35 mph where I have to slip my car into nuetral to keep behind it? Did this game go through a beat testing stage or not!? -- Andy

I have had that happen to me, the pace car came out at 250mph and sent an AI car flying down the track! "Andy Straw" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Lol Eldred, just keep reading, you'll see other things that seem to come out of nowhere. -- Don Burnette D Burnette in N4 Some people do nothing wrong. The problem is, they do nothing. And THAT is wrong. I got drilled from behind waiting for the pace car to catch up at Daytona. Put me out of the race, he must have been doing well over 100 mph. On 09 Mar 2001 01:45:57 GMT, [email hidden] (EldredP) wrote:

The game is incomplete if you ask me(even if you don't ask me) It's not a simulation of anything in single player mode except Midtown Madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steve Miller said it best; oooo, ooo, take the money and run!!!!! Rusty <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

If you are waiting for the pace car to pass you, you need to stay up high against the wall. If you are low on the track, it will plow right through you. -Paul Western States Racing League www.wsrl.n3.net > >I got drilled from behind waiting for the pace car to catch up at > >Daytona. I do remember that Bill couldn't be knocked out of the race, though, and he'd come plowing through you like a mad man.

Actually, *any* AI call would plow through you. I still have the sheet, but I also have a way to run it without the sheet...<g> Eldred -- Dale Earnhardt, Sr. R.I.P. 1951-2001 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett F1 hcp. +28.67...F2 +151.26...
