N4:" Steering cannot be assigned to a single sided axis"

WTF? I can't use my joystick(CH F-16 Fighterstick) in this game? How the heck am I supposed to steer the car? Pay another $60 for a wheel? Honestly! The stick calibrates fine and is recognized (same for my throttle and pedals), but when I click to assign the steering, I get that message and can not get out of the window. 4 times I have had to reset and run scan disk! Not off to a good start! Any ideas? -paul

I just figured it out. The two diamonds in the calibration routine weren't lined up. So I moved my stick all over the place and I can now assign my stick to steering. But, I was just playing a race in arcade mode and it crashed to the desktop. Always something, isn't it? :-) -pw
