Hopeing someone here might have some advice...
Just bought Microprose's Grand Prix World....
When I install it, it only gets to 76% then stops and cuts back to
desktop.... I check the directory wher eit was supposed to be installed,
nothing there... I have checked my whole PC, it isn't anywhere....
I managed to run the game off the CD... but of course you can't save or
anything..... then today I managed to copy most of the files off the CD onto
my HD, and used a No-CD crack to run the game, but I still can't save..
When I copied the files off there were several directories, or files in
directories I couldn't copy and got an error that said it can't read from
the device (CD). So it seems the CD is screwed.... cause I also found the
"Extras" directory when I went to open it in Windows Explorer, it crashes my
system....
This games is not exactly new though, so I was wondering if anyone else has
had the problem and outside of returning the game, is there another
option.....
