im trying to run gpl on win2k. but the game keeps crashing. i just wanted to hear if anyone have any ideas of what to make it work. im using an athlon 700 mhz asus geforce 6600 soundblaster live microsoft sidewinder FF wheel. 128 mb ram. thx
More likely to be a problem with drivers than with Win2k itself - I've run it successfully with a Voodoo3, and later with an nVidia Model 64 graphics card, both on Windows 2000. Hmmm, I've only noticed it not working for me when trying to load it in glide (but with a geforce that's not an issue for you). Have you tried to load the gpl.exe file with the "application compatibility tool" that you can install off the win2000 cd (win2000 support tools)? Perhaps a memory issue? Can you log on as a new user (setup with minimal programs running in the background) and then try it? Or even minimize GPL (before it crashes) and increase CPU utilization on the executible file? Just some ideas, Don "none" <***@***.***> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > im trying to run gpl on win2k. but the game keeps crashing. i just wantedto
