Can someone tell me how to take a screen capture in GPL. Not the 3d, but the
newspaper that comes up after a race. I've seen these on the web, but when I
try to make it with print screen and paste into mspaint, it comes out all
funky looking. I looked but I can't find a keycard for GPL... heh, never
needed to look at a keycard for this game before.
After pressing print screen, inside your GPL folder will be a file called
GPLssXX.pbf (where the XX is a number). Drag this file onto the program
pbf2tga.exe, this will then turn the screenshot into a tga file which can be
opened in most paint programs.
This doesn't work if you're using the D3D patch, in which case you'd need a
program such as hypersnap to take the screenshots.

Thanks,Ian.
I never knew how to do that either.

I just grabbed pbfvue.exe and it worked just fine. This one even works with
the d3d install (although I wasn't running in d3d when I took the capture.)

Even
programs like hypersnap wouldn't work...the only way to get N2 screen shots
was
in 2d(if you had a Rendition)
N3 just takes a screenshot as a .tga( I think!) file so you don't need
to do any conversion...unless you want to use it as a jpeg for a wep site..

Not the 3d,I don't know about N2 or N3, I no longer have them installed and never took
any screenshots. I'm sure there's someone here who could help you though.
