F1CS2K - Best Carsets? What's a PSD file?

I've got the All Chassis patch - I'm using hardcore. There are lots of car sets, and wheel sets. Which do people like the best? I'm looking at the F1CarSets, they look pretty cool in the stills that are posted with each one. They have these PSD files and I don't know what they are, and I don't see any files with "PSD" as a suffix in any of the f1CS2K directories. The F1 CS 2000 Modeler's place also has interesting stuff. After finishing this message, I'm going with this one, after backing up the whole F1CS2K directory tree. What are the track patches about? I didn't like going uphill at Monaco from Casino to Mirabeau in f12K, its better to drive level in F1CS2K. But I'd really rather drive down to Mirabeau. Do track patches address this? Where do I put the patches and carsets? Will that be obvious after I unzip the files? Are there any issues using these things with the all chassis patch? Thanks Larry

PSD is a Photoshop-native format that saves images as a series of layers (i.e. Base car color on one layer, panel lines on another, logos on yet another, etc). I haven't dowmnloaded these, but if they're in layers, it would sure make re-sizing, repositioning ot otherwise updating sponsor logos easier, as the season goes on...

Either carset crashes my game to the desktop. I uninstalled and installed f2CS2K and tried one car first. The modeler's place BAR went in OK, at least in that rotating view after starting a quick race. So I tried the first half or their set, up to the Ferrari that I drive. The Ferrari was invisible in that rotating view. stepping through the cars crashed to desktop. So I did the whole f1CarSets and had similar results. Stepping backward showed 6 of the second and third tier teams, but Ferrari and McLaren, and BAR were invisible, and crashed. I noticed that the carsets also update the .veh files. Isn't this also done by the all chassis patch? Am I stepping on that patch if I install the carsets? Thanks Larry
